school student, and lives with her grandfather,
Izumi Masaru. She also helps him run the lodging house.
She found the note on the beach which was carried accross
the sea in a bottle, signed "The Beach Boys".

candidate swimmer. However, he got injured just before
the competition, and become a "Tragic Hero". Hiromi
was very hyper, no manners, and carefree. He wants
try swimming in the ocean.

and following what others call the "Elite" Lifestyle.
It is only during his days at the beach that he starts
to discover his 'real' life. He became an elite

Being a mother who got separated from her child, Haruko
is always waiting for the time when her son will be
able to write a letter to her. She owns the bar up the
road from the lodging house. She always waiting for his
son letter.

Owner of the lodging house, Masaru, chooses to do what
he likes and stays on the beach. His daughter, Keiko,
disliked the lifestyle and went to Tokyo, leaving her
child, Makoto, under his care.
