Profile

Bo has been connected with Danish football from the age of 5 when he joined Holstebro. He was 21 when he moved to Brondby and has played in European Club Championship games and won Danish League titles with them.

He was their leading scorer that season with 12 goals before his move to the Reebok in a £1m deal.

Made only two starts in his first season with then manager, Colin Todd saying that the Dane would play an important part in the team in the 1999/2000 season.

It hasn't quite worked that way so far and he has been in and out of the side under new manager, Sam Allardyce.

Burst back into the side when he got the nod over Dean Holdsworth after the FA Cup semi final defeat at Wembley. Grabbed a brace against Walsall and followed that up with another goal at West Brom a week later.

But it was a season which blew hot and cold for the Dane as Deano regained his place over Bo Hansen in the remaining games of the season.

Now, with the depature of Eidur Gudjohnsen to Chelsea, and Michael Johansen who signed a pre-contract with FC Copenhagen, there is a shortage of wingers, so Bo Hansen was placed on the right wing, and he is doing exceptionally well.
