Profile

An experienced utility player who came to Bolton from Crystal Palace on loan in November and slotted into central defence.

His commanding performances in his six games during his loan period won him many plaudits and the club secured his services on a permanent basis for £800,000. His roots are in the North West and he is delighted to have returned "home".

The utility player has been dogged by injury since his arrival at the Reebok. The new season has proved more successful in terms of appearances than his second with the Wanderers.

Paul Warhurst has overcome his jinx of injuries, and he has figured in most of the Wanderers games this season, so lets hope that all the injuries have gone, so that Paul can enjoy playing football.
