Tour the studio
Our props department came up with this trick to make our tablecloths hang naturally. This tablecloth is hanging over a piece of foam board whose dimensions are the same as the top of the table that the cloth is destined for.
An alternative trick is to temporarily cover the table itself with waxed paper and then drape it with the dampened tablecloth.
