Genets Male large spotted in the back (TAZ) Female small spotted in the front (LUCY) $800 FIRM for both, includes cage. These little guys belong to my daughter and are about 4 months old. They are not very tame right now but with time and patience you should be able to handle them again soon. They did run free in her room and sleep in their cage. They also use a litter box. They are a bonded and unrelated pair and will not be sold seperately. These too eat most anything. They get cat food all of the time and I feed them what we eat for dinner most nights as long as it is healthy. Lucy loves bananas & watermelon. She also likes to get her own "prey" we give her bugs and fishing worms sometimes. If you are interested in these genets....Search the internet for care information. I can not really answer many genet questions. There is a site called Julies Jungle that did have some good info about genets. Again, Do not call and email me questions about genets. I'm just trying to find these guys a new home. Much more money was spent on these two than we are asking for them so their price is firm. My daughter would still have them but she moved out of state and can not have them where she is living. Please make sure these exotics are legal to own in your state also. I will not hold them for anyone without full purchase price being paid by paypal. I want to place tham as soon as possible while they are still young and can be tamed. Again......Please do NOT call or email with genet care questions...or "what are they" questions. I will only respond to individuals who know they are interested enough to purchase them. These 2 have had no health issues and are fun to watch when you allow them to run free. I've ready they should not be allowed around other small animals......and they do have nails and teeth like cats. They hiss and spit like cats also. I only pick them up with gloves. My daughter was able to play with them about a month ago so I'm sure they will come around with a little work. I thought about keeping them and raising bottle babies...that is the best way to tame them. we just do not have the time. These little things are catching on quickly and will be a could breeding pair since they are unrelated and one is large spotted and one is small spotted. They are beautiful animals and weigh about a pound each or less probably. 615-522-3960 |
