About Tiny Tot Gerbils

History: Mmkay, I have *5* years of gerbiling experiance. I've only recently started breeding! Before I started I looked at about every gerbil site ever. I've always been an animal person. And when I saw cute furry gerbils creating tiny adorable mini gerbils, I had to too! I had about 10 sheets of notebook paper filled with baby gerbil names, A gerbil journal with every stage of birth & reproduction, I spent about 2 hours a day surfin the net for gerbil sites =) I knew my parents would not be thrilled about breeding gerbils. I put up a wonderful slide show with pages and pages of information and pictures. It took me a week to do! I showed my parents who were impressed but still not shure about breeding gerbils. I worked extra hard in school to raise up my grades ;) That did the trick so we talked about breeding more and more! I reserved sunkist my yellow fox female from Celtic Clique Gerbils along with Oreo a pied black male. Before I picked them up Rachel told me that Sunkist was verrrry pregnant. She had the pups 2 days before I went to pick them up. So I had to wait. Then she had to go on vacation, then it snowed, then Rachel had buissness to take care of and FINALLY after about a month of e-mailing back & forth words and pictures Rachel dropped off Sunkist (with her pedigree) and her 7 babies! Well to cut this story short I now have my gerbil family which is growing and growing =)

Caring for my Fuzzy Family: Beleive it or not caring for my furry friends is fun most of the time! All gerbils are kept in a 20 or 20 gallon tank with water (which is refilled and cleaned out every 2 days), food (which is sprinkled on top of the bedding in a corner where they dont go to the bathroom or sleep), toys & toilet paper! All gerbil are kept with a friend except for one who has always bin alone =( Ive tried to "hook her up" with a pal but shes very agressive torwards other gerbils. All the gerbils get names (how could any one not name a pet) as well as the pups! The pups of course can be renamed if the adopters wish to. The gerbs are handled everyday I am at my house (which is pretty much all the time except in the summer when we go on trips) for about a half hour to an hour! They all get exersize, "free time" and also get their photos taken alot ;)

About Me: I won't go into details about me because 1) This is a site for the gerbils and 2) Their are strange people out there! But I am a boy who absolutly loves animals =D I love my friends and family too ;) My whole world doesnt revolve around gerbils but a main part does! I am an A-B student most of the time, I love my cellphone, my pets and webdesigning on the computer =) I also enjoy hanging out with friends, going out to eat, watchin t.v ;), goin on vacations ( or camping ) and eating fast food! =) Its amazing I am so skinny with some of the foods I eat :O .lol.

Thank You's & Dedications:
First and formost I would like to thank my parents for letting me do all this! Putting up with all my critters and me! ;) Some classic moments were when my population would reach to about 8 gerbils my mom would freak out ;) And my step dad wanting to seperate pups from when they were like two weeks old so they wouldnt mate ;) HaHa! (Dont worry that never happened!)
Next I would really like to thank Rachel from CelticCliqueGerbils, one of the best sites out there. Thank you so much for raising Sunkist (and her litter for a while) I can tell you did a great job. Your site is great. I love reading like every page of your site once a day. Its so interesting. I can't wait till one day your whole site gets done, all the pages and pictures work, and you achive somthin you want in gerbiling! =D

The Life of a TTG gerbil: The fun is not over ;) Ever wondered how a gerbil's life is for about a week? Well here is the full on tour of a gerbils life. Thank you Sunkist for being our lovely model gerblet. ;D
