I was introduced to Kristen thru my niece Crissy. I found Kristen to be a very beautiful person. Kristen is very photogenic. In this shot I used a lot of back light small strobe and umbrella for front lighting. Kristen already had idea's for her shots. Theirs something about a Spanish women that's just striking.

In this shot Kristen is being lit by a small strobe in the lower right hand corner which is brighter than the front strobe, which throws a shadow to the left and accents her torso. I shot this with my 35mm Cannon, using 100 asa film. The light is provided by 5 head Novatron flash system. I always use a soft box or umbrellas. I use bounced light rather than direct for a softening affect. Direct light is just too harsh, and can cause hot spots. Hot spots are places where you can see a bright light spot as seen in the right hand side.

This shot in B&W is sexy but not too revealing. I really enjoy shooting in black and white. Kristen was up for the shoot. Her natural skin tone lends a warmth to the picture. Later in life she will look back on these pictures, and remember the fun she had shooting them.  I shot this picture using Tmax 100. I love the grain texture of Tmax for B&W photos. It is sensitive to tempeture changes  in developing, but the results are well worth it. A special thanks to Kristen, your great!
