This is a cool picture of my Little Red Corvette. The lights were in the sleep mod. I had them wired so you could make them wink raising one light half way and then closing it. I think it looks kind of neat with the water drops on it. Notice how low to the ground she sits.

 

Here's some trivia on the 1969 Corvettes. General Motors went on strike in late 1969, so there were only a limited number of the 1969 and 1970 Corvettes made, and even less convertibles. 1968 was the first year of this Mako Shark II design. This body style lasted from 1968 thru 1972. The 1973 model year has a rubber front bumper.

 

This is my Blue 1969 Corvette. I am still working on getting it in tip top shape. It will take me a few years to get all the running gear completely gone through, but in the end it's a piece of history. The only problem now is keeping gas in it. Corvettes are not known for their gas economy. These old cars are mostly for weekend cruses.
