This tipi kit is probably the most accurate tipi/teepee model you will ever find anywhere. Our kit includes 24 step instructions and 29 illustrations for assembly. Great for a parent/child educational project or Indian lore enthusiasts looking for more than just a toy replica. When you finish this project, you will have the knowledge necessary to erect a full size tipi. While a person with intermediate craft skills can assemble this kit in approximately an hour, you will be surprised by the precision necessary to erect what looks like a very simple lodge. What we are trying to get across is IT IS NOT AS EASY AS IT LOOKS!!! Erecting a tipi is both a science and an art usually passed on from one generation to the next. While there is no heavy lifting involved, precise measurements and attention to detail are a must!!!!
