Zelator Temple

This the temple setup for the Zelator. Specifically it is the second setup from the initiations which I call and use as the Zealtor temple since it represents Malkuth. The setup of implements is based off the Tabernacle of the Wilderness described in Exodus 35-40. N.B. Move mouse over the object for its name and see below for comments.

Object Comments

Banner of the East Again it represents LVX. This time its from the higher sephira through the paths.

Banner of the West Again it represent darkness or anti-LVX. It's in the east to block the influx from the next paths to be crossed, keeping the energies of the locaiton the magician is to be in for a while stable.

Candlestick Attributed to the days of Creation and planets. Being firey its in the South.

Censor Representative of the Alter of Incense and the element Air. Sybolically prayers, the words of the soul, are carried up to Deum just as incense smoke rises in the air. This is not the Dadouchos's censor.

Cross and Triangle Since this is actualy the first step of development, the cross is within the triangle symbolizing the application of slow heat in the alchemic process. Also following the theme of wanderer in the wilderness the canidate is totaly reliant and therefore enveloped by Deum. It can also be symbolic of the Ark of the Convanent following the same where the Cross is YHShVH pre-Incarnation as Logos, Verbum, Wisdom, the Law inside in union with the Triangle i.e. ark.

Cup Representative of the Laver and the element Water. Used for atonment and purification before admitance to the sanctuary. This is not the Stolistes's cup.
Earth Tablet Being associated with the element of Earth it is natural to have the appropriate Enochian tablet.

Letter Qoph Represents the path Qoph (duh) from Malkuth to Netzach.

Lamp Representative of the Alter of Holocosts and the element Fire. For Justice debts must be paided. In the Fall, Man took his Life from Deum and so must pay it back. In the bondage of Egypt, Deum gave its people freedom from that. The closest equivalent to life is blood, the essence of life. This is not the Kerux's lamp.

Letter Shin Represents the path Shin (duh) from Malkuth to Hod.

Letter Tau Represents the path Tau (duh) from Malkuth to Yesod.

Pillars Again this is the gateway from wence the ex-Neophyte came, i.e. the Gateway of the Hidden Knowledge which the Hegemon gaurded. Crossing it leads to the realm of the Treshold, more specifically the Double Cubical Alter of the Universe. Following the gist of the rite, it is also the entrance from the outter courtyard to inside the Tent.
