The Magic Code by Shawn C. Knight a.k.a. sk4p is the Magical and Occult variation of the Geek Code. Basically it is a pseudo-PHP like code that describes what type of magic and occult philosophies and practices one has. Typically this is posted as a signature in a forum, blog, or in this case a website.

MCM/TAI practice ceremonial style since it fits well with the common conception of magic. What is the point after all if you do not have all those neat toys? All the other styles are just too common and the scientist in me cannot accept and inherent power of physical objects devoid of divine intervention. Since there is no authority of the divine in low magic, they go poof in my face.
As for the Tarot its a GD style modification of Tarot Spells by Janina Renee rather than meditation or path working. I throw out her affirmations and most of her "bland" visualizations since they echo too much of pop-psychology, but love the layouts for goals. It's just open temple, set them out, MP, rotate 360° *ding* Call it a night.
X+I'm not in one unless you count a self-made self-initiation course with a couple of brick GD books and resources. Since I hold that Truth is objective it would be nice to have other people to verify experiences, sensations, etc. However since most people in this field hold to Relativism, there is always the fall back of camaraderie.
PCH++++Yup the big C, and kosher, not this trendy Gnostic crap. Of course occult practices go against the first commandment in that it sins against the essential trust in God and the exclusivity of their experience. However I know this: "It is one thing to say 'I sin.' It is another to pretend that this is not a sin."
--That's why you get some "odd" terms of "lukewarm" or "tepid" showing up in morality, and that they are the ways a person can be the most evil. It's when a normal person cheats a little on their taxes/test or breaks a small promise and don't admit or know that they are doing wrong that Evil is triumphant, as opposed to a murderer or rapist who knows they are doing wrong--So for all intensive purposes in both a literal and intimate developed spiritual understanding, I cannot die just yet.

N+I do not use Newsgroups so I cannot judge sk4p's scale. I do frequent OccultForums.com, use the Internet for resources e.g. to get those public domain grimoires, and graphics programs for talisman designs.
Ds/r+For ritual it's getting to be one hour daily. Those solemn vibrations take a while to do on top of any vocalizing to add more to the ritual aside from blind stringing together of the rituals. Sexual practice is determined by my Vocation. Currently it's single so that mean abstinence. (Yay! No chance for the Herps.) Should I wed, then it would be time to start cleaving by means of fully surrendering my soul, and as result my body, in Love to my wife.

a++This was my first art learned. I haven't done it in a while, there are just so many clients, and do not fully resort to it yet for magical forecasts. I'd just wish I could find some resources about anything besides how to do natal charts or understanding the signs/planets.
CI probably use it more than I realize with an occasional custom sigil or elemental, but I passively avoid it. Perhaps it's because too many teeny-boppers summon cartoons from it, or use it as a crutch to avoid spiritual commitment.
G-I have done one in my past as part of a course. The more I meditate on it, the less I'm incline and impressed with it. They're moody, rowdy, require lots of experience, attractive to people who have no idea on how to deal with the properly leading to complications. They aren't worth it. I understand how they can be used as awakening latent abilities, or a form of sublimation in that when a person is fully balanced magically they can use lesser beings. However the line is drawn and the contradiction revealed when a person can say that one has to be respectful, patient, non-judgmental and build a relationship with a finite Goetic spirit more easily than God who is by definition all-good, all-loving, etc.
HQ++(+)GD means Hermetical, and mostly just knowing the parts of Liber 777, which in my opinion doesn't make a strong understanding of the QBL. Also I am not big on Numerology since it's so easy to just fudge the numbers by how they are added, or worse with English how they are transliterated.
666--->+This part is sort of a joke. Anyone who reads about him cannot but help say that yes he is an anti-christ. Objectively is was an anti-christ in that although he may have had good intentions and system, he did spawn unnecessarily a lot of moral Evil i.e. bad repercussions--No, you cannot counter that ΧΡ did the same with later religious wars, since he claimed to be God, therefore making any teachings good in an of themselves regardless of another's abuses, while Crowley just a prophet for Aiwass--However I do wish to read some of his works such as Magic Theory and Practice, but I am a big procrastinator.
YIt is OK, but tends more so than not to be a false Western idealized romantic entanglement with its practice. Make a nice pilgrimage to India and see how they actually practice it as their heritage.
