Miscellaneous Tools

Here's all my miscellaneous tools and junk.

Temple Basics Here are the temple basics. The pillars are toilet paper tubes with white-out or black permanent marker. The "flames" are origami flowers, following Kipling's poetic term for fire "Man's Red Flower"--Yeah the flower are purple but magical does take place in the astral i.e. Yesod--White cardboard from underwear packaging was for the triangle and cereal box cardboard for the cross. The black cloth is costume cape from an ice show I was in as a kid.
Cup and Ashtray Here is the plastic cup and glass ashtray I use for opening with Water and Fire. I cannot manage a full censor in my household but a ashtray with dirt and cone insense should be fine.
Elemental Weapons Here are my elemental weapons. The pentacal is a green sheet of paper folded to make and origami star, but minus the pinching. I didn't used the GD 4 coloring since these aren't really my weapons, just representation of the elements, and green just fits better with the primary coloring schemes. The dagger is a letter opener. The cup is one from those slight-of-hand cup and balls trick. The wand is an unsharpened red pencil with a yellow eraser head on it.
Dagger and Wand Now the tools I use the most are my pent. rite knife and hex rite wand. The knife was from the thrift shop and the wand is more weenie-roast dowel with white-out and black permanent marker.
Rings After the knife and wand combo the rings are my most used items. They are they only ritual clothing I use and represent a grade. The clear one is for Neophyte being emptied and ready for change. The black one is for Zelator representing Earth. The yellow is for Theorictus and Air. They were custom made and purchased at NightshadeMagic.com. (Athena: Thank you again for tracking down my rocks.)
Journal and Pen Here's my current magic journal with the fountain pen I write with. I've got more pens and inks for magic, but they are on hiatus since I've yet to create magic sigils that are aesthetically pleasing to me.
Triangle of the Arte and Magic Mirror During my transition to Zelator I was solicited by a Spirit who for the first time in eight years was not spiritually attacking myself of family. The result was making these ahead of schedule in order to properly deal with it. The triangle is my standard cardboard and computer printout. The mirror is cardboard blacked out with permanent marker and deck out with shiny black (plastic) glitter. When I scry with it the entity('s ethereal body) appears above it. It makes sense since a rough surface lets the (astral) light go in all directions.
Box and Junk Finally all the miscellaneous and practical junk. There are my two Tarot decks, lighter for candles and incense, 3 minute hour glass for simple meditations--I really get ansy looking at my watch--geomancy coins (pennies), pouch for whatever current talisman I'm using, and box for storing everything I can cram in it.
