Walk to the 2, i.e. South East, and form the Rose Cross, A to D, B to C, then a circle clockwise from the right arm at the intersection, and vibrate YHShVH.

The traditional implement for the RCR is a stick of incense or a wand specifically for the RCR.

Some magicians start in the South West instead of the South East. South East is the part where the Sun is the strongest, i.e. Sunrise and Noon. The South West is the point of elemental balance on the higher and lower planes. On the lower its both Fire and Water. On the higher it is Earth and Air.

The colors for the Rose Cross should be Golden for the cross and Red for the Circle.

At the end there are six roses. Four at the diagonals, one on the ceiling, and one on the floor. There are three circles. One around the working space at hip to chest level, and two in space on the diagonals.
