This temple is in quite close to Railway Station of Tirupati town. It is told in puranas that illusions Vishnava Votary "Sri Ramanujacharya " had installed this temple.
Govindha Raja Swamy is told as brother of Lord Venkateswara. Here, the main Deity is in sleeping posture.

Every year Brahmotsavams of GovindhaRaja Swamy are conducted in the Month of Vaisaka(May-June).
