Horsley Hills is the only Summer
Resort situated in Andhra Pradesh. It is situated 4312 feet above sea
level and the maximum temperature at this place will not exceed 320
C in peek summer.
This Horsley hills was previously
known as "Yenugu Mallama Konda".In 1857, a British collector
W.H.Horsley first located this place. This later became his favorite
summer resort. He constructed a beautiful guesthouse and named this place
as "Horsley Hills".
NOW, A.P tourism has constructed
many guesthouses which are available at very reasonable prices. Essential
commodities like Hospital ,Post Office, police station, Residential schools
are available here. A Natural study center provides us with in-depth information
about this hill and it's surroundings. An Animal park with Crocodile park
gives lot of excitement for children.
There are lot of buses and taxis
available from Madanapalli to reach this place .With prior information,
rooms and cottages can be reserved here .
