Mythological
Talakona has Lord Shiva temple famously known as "Siddieswara Swamy" temple.It
is told that TalaKona is the first hill of SeshaChala hills where Lord Balaji
is located.Thus the name Tala(head) Kona(falls),and also it was told that
Lord Srinivasa has kept his head(Tala) due to tiredness while counting the money
that he has taken from Lord Cubera for his marriage. That's why this place
is called "TALA KONA".
