Scouting: Offensive Defenseman has a lot to work before he takes the step to higher level's of hockey.. Jiri is a very good skater with good speed.. Agile, can turn corners quickly.. Is good skating both forward and in reverse.. Very inconsistant, at times will show his ability to feather excellent passes including a crisp breakout passes but other times his passes are inacurate and lead to chances from the opposition.. Is a very good stickhandler who doesn't have trouble holding onto the puck for a length of time.. See's the ice well though sometimes will make bad decisions.. Defensively he needs a lot of work.. Give's a good effort in his own zone, though he lacks toughness and general defensive awareness.. will be skating backwards defending a play, then the defender will make a move and Jiri will stop skating and do nothing.. Needs to anticipate plays better.. Needs some work, as of now is a long way from the NHL. |
