Scouting: A solid skater who has decent speed and good agility. Excellent handling the puck, very fast hands, skates good through traffic. Has a nice hard wrist shot. Goes to the net on the majority of plays. Good passing skills. Good Hockey sense, shows good patience with the puck. Always in the middle of the play, mucking it up. Takes hits well, bounces back nicely. Could use some strength, along the boards can be physically dominated and easily knocked off the puck. Works hard on the forecheck and the backcheck. Uses his stick nicely tieing up his man. Could use some work on his defensive coverage. |
