Scouting: Dylan is a good defensive forward who inconsistently displays some of the traits his dad Dale Hunter used to. Dylan isn't the fastest skater, has average speed and not very fast laterally or turning corners. Is a good stickhandler, who controls the puck well through traffic or when being checked. Has a hard wristshot with a quick release. Gritty player, solid forechecker, at times will throw in the odd cheap shot or dirty tactic, you wish he'd be more of a hitting presence. Is aware of where the referee is though. Is strong along the boards and has good balance. Is excellent defensively, always giving a good effort. Will sacrifice his body getting down there blocking shots. |
