Part Two: Seemlessness

      All advancements in Metaphysics
  require the use of aspect fields and the
  properties of Seemlessness that arise
  from their use.

      The first experiment given to students
  at most academies is the "summon the wind"
  spell. The instructions read:
    Reach out with your mind and touch the
  air. Let your aspect field flow out but keep
  in contact with it. Now embrace the wind
  with your will and call it to you. Results
  are usually apparent within 3 minutes.

     This embracement of the physical
  elements around you is First Perception.
  The willful control of matter that follows
  we call Seemlessness. It is the will joined
  without error to the Other.

     Seemlessness yields all the benefits of
  Civilization as we know it: Starships use
  it to voyage the seas of the Universe.
  Healers use it to defeat Death. Seers use
  it to glimpse the future and the past.
  Only a sentient will can do these things.

      To the Human student we say: Your
  new mind is evolving - it is the first
  gasping fish lying on the shore of a
