All these Gift Boxes are constructed on the same principle, and I will only demonstrate how to build one, which will serve as an example for the rest.
I got the Idea from an sample of a Sweet Box they distribute here on the occasion of Marriages and/or Births. The original was a transparent plastic box, the lid of which was made up of four triangular flaps each ending in a Heart-Motif, so that when properly closed, the four Hearts form a Flower. My contribution lies in:
z extending the four-flaps idea to the six surfaces of the cubic box;
z Changing the Heart-Flower Motif to a Spiral-shaped one (perhaps you can think of other shapes, I did not find any others yet);
z Extending the Cube shape, based on the 'square' type of side, to other shapes based on a 'triangular' type of side ( the 20-triangle-sided 'ball' solid and the 12-pentagon-sided solid did not succeed without glue as they have angle folds that are greater than 90o )
z Using color to enhance its attraction;
z The fact that these shapes hold well together without the need for glue.The following sequence of four pictures should demonstrate how to go about assembling the model.
