(Above) Mike's flats and the view from them in 'One Law'. Note the distinctive red-brick staircase - in particular the arched pillars and central arch with a red capstone. The flats have a yard full of washing line posts, beyone which are a set of allotments, and then a recreation ground. In the distance, a line of trees suggests the presence of a road or waterway.
(Above) Seth Bartlett's flats, visited by Elizabeth in 'The Blue and the Green'. These flats are most likely in
the same location as that discussed above. Note the distinctive pattern of window shapes and railings, also the white based pillars of the central floor of the staircase, and the red capstone on the central archway.
It seems likely that both these locations were filmed at Alexandra Gardens, Chiswick. As a map of the area indicates, the block of flats in this location overlooks allotments, then a recreation ground on the banks of the river Thames.
Several properties in this block have also recently come up for sale - see photos here and here.
