Journal  Entry 1 I have I just moved into Falas Weyr and I think I'm going to like it here a lot. Katrine moved here with me. She says that she doesn't want to become a dragonrider but I think she'll change her mind after she stays here awhile. I'm going to go look for firelizards with her in a few days. Hopefully we'll find some. A friend would be good to have until I Impress, that is I I do Impress. Entry 2 I went to look for firelizards today and I ended up with two of them. A blue and brown, which Katrine named Inharem and Baleyeh. It was quite an adventure while we were walking down the beach. We were almost killed by a gold firelizard who was protecting her nest, well maybe not killed but we sure were chased a good ways down. Entry 3 I've applied for gold Niayith's clutch. In the form I said that I wanted a black. But truthfully I wouldn't mind Impressing any other color excluding blue. I just hope that I get the priviledge of Impressing at all. Entry 4 I've Impressed! From Niayth's clutch a beautiful black hatchling named Delduwath picked me to be his lifemate! Entry 5 Delduwath is now a weyrling! We started weyrling training after he was a few months old but it was only stuff like safety, feeding etc. That was boring but now the weyrlingmaster takes us outside to teach. A few days ago we started to fly! It was so amazing I couldn't even talk. Delduwath listened to all my instructions perfectly and I felt like we were the best suited pair out there. Entry 6 We've graduated weyrling training! No more classes and no more running from one end of the Weyr to the other and then back again. I've also signed Del up for gold Zyranth's flight at Dark Moon Weyr. Hopefully she will choose him as her mate. Entry 7 Weyrwoman Yakima contacted me asking if I would be willing to become a searchrider for the F.G.P.C. and we readily agreed to do anything she bids of us. Delduwath was so happy he could barely sit still for three days! Entry 8 We've entered gold Ellenath's flight, quite a while ago now come to think of it. I don't know how it could have slipped my mind, Delduwath was so happy about being able to chase her. The flight has ended now, Delduwath coming out victorious over the rest! She's lain her her clutch on Falas Weyr's sands and there's even a gold! Entry 9 Ellenath’s clutch has finally hatched and there were thirteen eggs. The queen egg, which was thought to only hold one hatchling, actually ended up hatching into twins. Twin golds! Delduwath was ecstatic and for good reason. He also sired four rares, including a small black like himself. If he keeps siring clutches like this he’ll go down as a very successful sire, which would be nice. Entry 10 Delduwath has set his sights on a gold/white that’s rising at Tiynarea now. Her name is Galleth, and although she’s not the largest of golds rumor has gone around that she will throw a gold egg as well as other rare colored progeny. I’m allowing him to enter this one even though this flight came up very soon after Ellenath’s clutch hatched. Deld has gotten it into his head that he will always produce a gold considering he did after his first flight but we’ll see. | Journal | Search | Hatchling Story | Stats | |
