PJ EVANGELISTIC MEETING
18 October 2003

Thank the grace of God that the PJ Hymnal Evangelistic Meeting was successfully held on the 18th of October.

Everyone was anxious as the evangelistic meeting drew closer because a great deal of time, effort and prayers have been put into this event. Thank God that around 30 truthseekers turned up for the event.

The night began with the sharing of 2 hymns during the Sing A-Long session: "Sing Hallelujah to the Lord" and "Because of Your Love".

After the hymn singing and prayer, the congregation were treated to 4 hymns from the youth choir: 1. God So Loved (choir) 2. Eternal Answer (trio) 3. People Need the Lord (choir) 4. Reach Out to Jesus (octet).

The children also performed 5 hymns: 1. God Knows About Everything 2. Power in the Name 3. Eternal Life 4. Only One 5. Amazing Grace and Jesus Loves You (Angklong Presentation)

Pr Ezra was also invited to give a brief sermon on "Jesus Loves You". He mentioned about Jesus's Life on earth as well as his sacrifice for us so that we have the hope of eternal life in heaven.

The newly formed Adults choir then performed 3 hymns with the accompaniment of guitar and harmonica: 1. Jesus is Outside Knocking On the Door of Your Heart 2. Love Bounds Us Together 3. In Jesus Christ We are One Family.

4 Hymns were then sung by the youth choir: 1. A New You (duet) 2. Come Unto Me (choir) 3. Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus (quartet) 4. Jesus Loves You (solo + quartet + octet).

After the closing prayer, everyone was treated to refreshments outside the church hall. It was indeed a truely memorable event.
