Is the Association affiliated?

The Jitsu Foundation Australasia is affiliated to THE JITSU FOUNDATION UK, a body that regulates the training of over 100 Jitsu clubs in the UK and abroad. The Jitsu Foundation UK is recognised by both the British Ju Jitsu Association and the International Ju Jitsu Federation.

The Jitsu Foundation UK has fully mandated and trained all our current instructors, it sets the grading syllabus and maintains the standards within this branch organisation. Under the direction of TJF UK, the Jitsu Foundation Australasia conducts regular gradings, seminars and sessions on the Australasian continent.

The Jitsu Foundation Australasia is currently trying to establish the New Zealand Ju Jitsu Federation with other like-minded instructors (see Links.). The paramount concern of NZJJF will be to utilize collective resources to promote and develop ju-jitsu, both sporting and non-sporting, in New Zealand. For further information click on this link.
