Preamble to the SAPCA Constitution

The Southern African Philosopher Consultants Association is a values-based professional body that is committed to the promotion of philosophical consultation as profession in Southern Africa.

Our vision is to empower and motivate our member practitioners to render a professional service for the primary benefit of their clients.

Our vision is encapsulated in the framework and terms of reference contained in this constitution and the accompanying Code of Conduct.

Together we have set objective criteria for practitioners to ensure that their services remain at a high standard.

We continue to develop appropriate training methods and we aim to educate practitioners accordingly.

Our members are signatories to our Code of Conduct. By so doing they declare their commitment to render a professional service and pledge to conduct an ethical practice.
