The story begins during the year when Wei Yi is 12 years old. Due to an accident, Qi Wei Yi, who has everything in this world, was sent to the only hospital in a village. During the boring recovery, Wei Yi accidentally discovers an underground air raid shelter in the old hospital. Through a secret passageway within the air raid shelter, he meets a Korean girl, two years younger than him, Zhao Shen Shen, who lost her voice due to an accident. Furthermore, a pure love develops from this meeting. However, due to a succession of mistakes and misunderstandings, Shen Shen and Wei Yi lost contact with each other.

Thirteen years later, Wei Yi is faced with a very busy business profession and bears the burden of his parents' expectation for him to take over the business. A life that has never encountered any difficult situations made him into a dazzling and confident person. One day, Wei Yi, dismissed a senior employee easily and without any second thoughts. Unexpectedly, the next day, a mute girl and a gangster type guy came to him to seek justice! Wei Yi never imagined that the mute girl is Zhao Shen Shen from thirteen years ago.

Because of Shen Shen's sense of justice, she left behind a profound impression and favorable feelings on Wei Yi. Under the pulling of fate, these two people meet time and time again. Even though they would fight over minor things each time, but seeing the way that Shen Shen use sign language causes Wei Yi to feel that life is filled with beauty! And her meetings with Wei Yi have become an interesting interlude within Shen Shen's silent life.

At this time, "misfortune" suddenly falls onto Wei Yi. The doctor confirms that Wei Yi has liver cancer and has only three months left to live. Suddenly, Wei Yi remembers an agreement. Thirteen years ago, he and Shen Shen buried a time capsule together and agreed to open it when he is 25 at Christmas…

Without any hesitation, Wei Yi breaks off his engagement with his fiancé, and goes to the place where he and Shen Shen agreed on. As the god of death approaches Wei Yi, fate arranges for him and Shen Shen to reunite! Zhao Shen Shen turns out to be the mute girl.

Wei Yi, whose life is coming to an end, decides to hide his identity. Yet he starts to change bit by bit because of Shen Shen. For Shen Shen, he will happily live the remainder of his 3 months. However, Wei Yi's father, Zhen Yang, is furious over the fact that Wei Yi is changing and all because of an unknown mute girl. He decides to step in personally and settled this obstacle. By Wei Yi's fiancee, Shen Shen accidentally finds out that Wei Yi is her love from thirteen years ago. She finds out that Wei Yi only has three months to live! The love that is suppressed deep inside Shen Shen's heart completely bursts forth!

25 years old, intelligent, talented, excells in all areas. The confident Wei Yi has always believe that there's no "misfortunes" in the world, there's only "not try hard enough." Because of this, he's so strict on others that he's almost merciless. This is until his doctor tells him that he has liver cancer with only 3 months to live and when he meets Zhao Shen Shen again. Wei Yi slowly changes because of Shen Shen and lives the last days of his life nicely. Gradually he understands the meaning of pursuing life and love.

23 years old, Chinese-Korean, in an accident she loses her ability to speak. But this didn't bring complete misery, but instead it helped her to better understand how to use her heart to listen to and understand others. She didn't give up because of her mishaps and you can't see the inferiorities of disabled people in her. She substituted it with honesty and optimism. Though she can't speak, but the "love" in her heart is more intense than anyone else.

27 years old. When he was young he was rebellious and playful, harming Shen Shen to become mute in an accident. Although on the surface it seems that Zuo Jun refuses to admit he's wrong, inside he holds himself responsible. To make up for his wrongdoing, he decides to protect Shen Shen from any kind of harm and unconsciously falls in love with Shen Shen. He's convinced that he's the only one who can give her happiness. In the name of love, he blocks Shen Shen and Wei Yi from development and doesn't hesitate to do sinful things. This is all because he wants to keep the girl at his side.

Wei Yi's fiancee, serious, competent, independent, wants to use her abilities to have a breakthrough achievement in her career and prove her strength. Although there aren't many feelings between her and Wei Yi but they have a steady tacit understanding of each other. When Wei Yi suffers from cancer and dismisses their engagement, she couldn't help but reconsider what "love" is.

Zai Zai & Megan arrived in Beijing on the night of August 10, 2006. There will be a fans function held in Beijing on August 11, 2006. At night, they will leave for the next stop, Shenyang. According to Chinese Business Morning View (Hua Shang Chen Bao), they will tape for a TV show in Shenyang on August 12, 2006. Silence will be aired on a Shenyang TV channel, Liaoning TV. After that they will fly to Shanghai at night for next day's promotions. On August 13, 2006, press conference held at Shanghai. Zai Zai & Megan returned to Taipei after the press conference.

Little Qi Wei Yi met Shen Shen at secret shelter near hospital. Being lost ability to speak because of accident, Shen Shen found love & understandings from a boy who acted as a Martian and taught her about 'lucky star'. Wei Yi shared his loneliness and his favorite song 'Try To Remember' with Shen Shen.

Now Qi Wei Yi have a beautiful girlfriend, Mi Xiao Guang. When Wei Yi give a ring as a present, Xiao Guang asked for engagement. In reluctance, Wei Yi agreed and inserted the ring to the fiancee's finger. Wei Yi went to the village, searching for the missing mute girl.

Wei Yi mistakenly chased a wrong girl, leading to his car damage. Shen Shen who also went to the village passed and carried him, rushing for the engagement party. Wei Yi felt the warm feeling from Shen Shen when she rubbed his face with tenderness.

Wanted to give thanks, Wei Yi presented a bouquet of flower for Shen Shen and invited her for a dinner. Heavy rain after the dinner bring a chance for Wei Yi to express his care by giving an umbrella.

Shen Shen and Zuo Jun going to Qing Dao seeking for cure. They get to know several people at Shi Xi house. Those people about to be expelled because a mall will be built on location of their living place. Wei Yi also went to Qing Dao for business purpose. It was his company who plan to build the mall. On a morning, unsatisfied by his reckless driver, Wei Yi choose to ride on a public bus. There he met Shen Shen and the encounter led them to nearby beach. Both relaxing at the beach, Shen Shen singing Teresa Teng's Qia Shi Ni De Wen Rou with sign-language.

Wei Yi as manager went to Shi Xi house to warn the people. There he met Shen Shen and Zuo Jun. When leaving, Shen Shen bravely stop Wei Yi's car to explain the difficult situation of the people of Shi Xi. Due to communication difficulties, she cannot do what she want. On the other hand, Zuo Jun half-hearted get a job as Wei Yi's driver, and eventually know his identity.

Zuo Jun's decision made Shen Shen angry because she think they're betraying the people of Shi Xi, by working with the enemy. Shen Shen want to go home to Taiwan but she failed to get the ticket. On the airport, Wei Yi and Xu Li accompanied a businesss partner. Feeling down, Shen Shen walked and slipped. Seeing this, Wei Yi quickly grabbed her in a very dramatic movement.

Shen Shen explain what happened to the people of Shi Xi, who were victim of their house owner and don't have enough money to rent a place big enough for all of them. She asked for 10 days grace period for the people of Shi Xi. Finally Wei Yi approved the 10 days period. Shen Shen went to the company to thanks him, but eventually find him sitting on a chair holding his stomach in pain. Shen Shen wipe his sweat and force him to have a medical check-up.

At the hospital, Wei Yi met an old friend Han Xin as the doctor. After several tests, Han Xin discovered a cancer on Wei Yi. He presumably only have 3 months left to live. Walking desperately on the beach, Wei Yi made the sign of lucky star while thinking the meaning of life.

Heavily depressed, Wei Yi ignored phone calls and hide from public. Losing his spirit to live, he decided to hide his illness. But Shen Shen approached him by a phone call and they went to a grassland hill together where Wei Yi thought he shouldn't be a burden to the girl. Then he went back to Taiwan.

In this episode, Wei Yi approached Xiao Guang, gave her special moments before revealing his cancer and asked to cancel their engangement. Xiao Guang very sad and she wept on Wei Yi's shoulder. Wei Yi told her to keep this secret until he passed away.

Wei Yi went to the village for his childhood memories. He put a mail on the secret shelter and read the little mute girl's letter there, where the girl already acknowledged she liked him a long time ago. Then Wei Yi met Doctor Su, who passed the mute girl's note. Inside it's written the name ZHAO SHEN SHEN. Wei Yi was shocked to know that Shen Shen is the mute girl he knew a long time ago.

Then he back to Qing Dao to see Shen Shen, but still keeping his identity in secret. He helped Shen Shen, A Han and A Ling when they delivered the ordered suits.

Fearing that he might not be able to live until Christmas 2006, Wei Yi arranged an artificial winter and invited Shen Shen there. Shen Shen was very touched and cannot help but giving her kiss to Qi Wei Yi.

After cheated by Zuo Jun about his father illness, Shen Shen saw with her own eyes Zuo Jun kissing Xu Li while drunk. With her broken heart, Shen Shen ran to Wei Yi for refuge.

After granting a land for Shi Xhi people, Wei Yi want to leave Shen Shen but the girl chase him to the airport. Suddenly on pain, Shen Shen quickly hold and hug him, even send a message that she afraid has been falling in love with the manager, without knowing he is Qi Wei Yi.

Finally Wei Yi agreed for a surgery. But it was too late. The cancer cell has spread. This fact left Xiao Guang in deep sorrow.

Although she knew that Wei Yi having surgery for the sake of another woman, Xiao Guang said she won't leave Wei Yi until the death separate them.

Xiao Guang confronted Shen Shen by pretending to interview her. But here she accidentally reveal the name QI WEI YI. The love that is suppressed deep inside Shen Shen's heart completely bursts forth.

Inside a church, Shen Shen made the 'lucky star' sign and Wei Yi saw the shadow of her hand. But he still avoid her because his promise to Zuo Jun.

Cannot resist the love inside their heart, both of them hug each other very tight.

Because of pressures from Zuo Jun, Wei Yi arranged a series of denial for Shen Shen, but Shen Shen keep coming to him even to his office. Here Wei Yi acted rough by kissing her violently.

Wei Yi's father want to humiliate Shen Shen on a house party by using Zuo Jun promotion as a bait. There Qi Zhen Yang offended the girl because of her disability to talk, even offered bribery in order to push her to leave his son. When Wei Yi took her away, his father threatened but his mother supported his action.

Run away from home, they're having romantic moments. After a day full of excitement, Shen Shen back to Zuo's home while Wei Yi go to meet Huang Zhi Ye (Yellow). Wei Yi suddenly collapsed and Yellow brought him to his apartment.

Yellow finally told Xiao Guang that Wei Yi is at his apartment, then Xiao Guang realized she must tell Shen Shen. This is her way of continuing to love Wei Yi. Shen Shen came to Wei Yi living place and they're having a very good time. Shopping and bicycling together. Wei Yi teased Shen Shen while she taught sign-language to him.

The fact that Shen Shen often visit Wei Yi made Zuo Jun jealous. Realizing that her existence at Zuo's house only brings pain to Zuo Jun, Shen Shen decided to move-out and live together with Wei Yi.

Wei Yi's mother felt guilty after she knew that Xu Li is his husband's daughter with another woman before they married. She almost die because of overdose. Wei Yi bring Shen Shen to the hospital to comfort his mother. The happy couple got blessing from Wei Yi's mother.

Zuo Jun heard from Xu Li that Wei Yi have cancer. At first he want to confront Wei Yi, but saw how Shen Shen is happy with him and the weak Wei Yi cannot fight him. Then both of them have truce.

Wei Yi and Shen Shen took photos and having sweet moments before Wei Yi's father come and start to threatening her.

Under intimidation and the risk of Zuo Jun going to jail, Shen Shen left Wei Yi in a very sad condition. He tried to sing while in pain.

After bringing happiness back to the family dinner table with his father and mother, again Wei Yi made farewell videos for his mother.

Back to Qing Dao to attend A Han's swimming competition, Wei Yi condition deteriorated and heavy bleeding occured.

Finally Wei Yi's father allowed Shen Shen back to Qing Dao. There at the swimming pool, overjoyed Shen Shen suddenly shouted the name 'Qi Wei Yi'. Witnessed by many people, she bravely said 'I Love You' before Wei Yi fainted and fall into the swimming pool. Shen Shen quickly grabbed him. At last she knew about the cancer from Han Xin.

On the last day of Wei Yi's live, they went to a grassland. Both of them making 'lucky star' sign before Wei Yi falling to death.
