The Clarinet Monkies
Why are we the Clarinet Monkies? To be honest, I'm not exactly sure. I've heard from some people that it's because the clarinet sounds like a screaming monkey when you go up the chromatic scale. It may also have to do with the fact that we hug trees (if there aren't trees, we settle for branches, but those don't work as well) before performances.
