In the fall of 1999, a day broke that would be passed down for generations of clarinet players. The clarinets had been practicing their show under the tree closest to the road outside of the AudLob. The final, dedicating note was a high G. Not just for the first part. For everyone. Now, the fearless section leader of the time heard squeaks and hums and althogether NOT a high G. She jumped up and and bellowed to her fellow players "No, no no!! I want you to PLAY that G with force! I want to HEAR it!"
