Welcome to my Final Fantasy anthology page. This page is for all the Final Fantasy fans in England (or all over the world) who think that it was just damn stupid that Squaresoft never released the previous Final Fantasys in the UK. This site will provide you with the ROM files of Final Fantasy 1 - 6. And also an emulator in which to run the ROM files. This site also means that you don't have to go carting around the internet looking for links that don't work, because here all the links are direct, so there is nothing to worry about.
About the games:
Well, Final Fantasy 1 upto 3, were games for the Nintendo Entertainment System also known as the NES. They were good games that were popular in Japan, but for some stupid reason, they were never released here. Well America got FF1, but not 2 or 3. On this site, you can download all 3 of them, so nothing to worry about there. To play the ROM files you will need an emulator. There is a NES emulator provided on this site also, so again, nothing to worry about.
Final Fantasy 4 through to 6, were games released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System also known as the SNES. These 3 games were a big improvment graphically from the first 3 and were also just as popular, if not, even more popular than the first three. There is something else behind the 6th game, it was released in America as Final Fantasy 3, confusing? You can learn all about how the Americans fucked up the numbering system in the FF6 download section.
Are these files legal?
It depends on whether or not you actually own the original cartridge. If you do own the original cartridges of the games you download then it's perfectly legal. However, if you download a game you do not own, you must delete it within 24 hours of downloading it. But then, who really gives a flying fuck about the law? If you are like me, and you couldn't give to shits about what the law says, then you will download these ROMs and just keep them anyway.
What else do I need?
Everything you need is right here on this website, the games, and the emulators you need to run the games, oh yeh, and some skill if you're actually thinking of completing the games, as they are no different from the recent Final Fantasy games on the Playstation. So what are you waiting for? Play the games you never thought you could today!
