It's something that's good to know, as you never know when you'll have to use it. Note that participation is entirely voluntary and at your own risk.
Date |
Sept. 22nd, 2002 (Sunday)
|
Time |
12pm onwards to run for 3-4 hours
Longer if more people are participating
|
Cost |
$50/person for 6 or less people
But, if more than 6 people, we might be able to go with a flat rate ~$300
Any more takers?
For those already committed, invite a paddling buddy
|
Location |
Aylmer marina
Reason for this is that it's easier to videotape course participants
Coffee shop close by for warming up afterwards
|
Wetsuits |
Since this is late September, it'll be cooler and we'll be wet, so wetsuits are in order and maybe a paddling jacket (or any windbreaker)
Depending on supplier stock, Glen might be able to order in wetsuits for people by the course rolls around (hopefully)
The wetsuits (and an online sizing chart) can be found here:
Whites Paddlesports
They are the "Titanium" series, tempest john/jane
Cost for the wetsuits will be ~$90
