Starbase Tango has many gardens on the Science Level. Each is dedicated to a different climate and/or biome.

| Arctic:
Found at the poles of planets and the top of high mountains. Very cold temperatures, water found in ice or snow form only. Little or no vegetation present. |
| Desert:
Desert climates have extremely hot days, and cold nights. Has very little rainfall. Vegetation is sparse. |
| Steppe:
Usually found in higher elevations along the edge of mountains / plains. Has high temperature variation. Plentiful vegetation. |
| Tropical:
Also called "rainforest" it remains warm / hot year-round and has a very high rainfall. Very plentiful vegetation. |
| Tundra:
Found near the poles of most planets, has very cold temperatures, water is nearly always in the form of ice or snow. Vegetation is sparse. |
