In early March, 2000, I spotted this 99 SHO on eBay. I put in a bid and expected to lose the auction; however, 30 minutes later, it was mine. I purchased a one-way airline ticket to Ft. Wayne, Indiana and the seller, Todd Sanderson, met me at the airport and took me to Auburn, Indiana to view the car and complete the paperwork. The car was formerly owned by General Motors as a program evaluation vehicle and they only put 3,400 miles on it in one year! I then drove it back 2,400 miles to Seattle, WA from Auburn, Indiana in 3 days. What a ride!! Great road car and decent gas mileage for a V-8. |
