Theory on :

- The knowledge of Taekwon-do and its effect on the spirit

 

Basic techniques:

1- Flying back piercing kick (sitting stance)

2- Sitting stance W-shape block

3- Walking stance high thrust with the flat figertip

4- Walking stance upset figertip

5- L-stance low guarding block with a knife-hand

6- L-stance low pushing block with the double forearm

7- X-stance pressing block with an X-fist / L-stance side back strike with the back fist and a low block with the forearm

 

Pattern:

Toi-Gye's definition :

It's the pen name of the noted scholar Yi Hwang (16th century), an authority on neo-Confucanism. The 37 movements of this pattern refer to his birthplace on the 37º latitude, the diagram represents "scholar".
