In Taekwondo we hounour five fundamental tenets of living:-

Courtesy- It can be said that courtesy is an unwritten regulation prescribed as a means to enlighten man while maintaining a harmonious society.

Integrity- In Taekwondo one must be able to determine right from wrong and have a conscience, and if wrong, to feel guilt and make a mends.

Perseverance- To achieve anything, whether it is a higher belt, the perfection of a technique or a promotion at work, one must set a goal and then constantly perseve to attain it.

Self-Control- An inability to live within one' capability is a lack of self control. One must be able to develop the ability to control and overcome one' anger.

Indomitable spirit- "Here lies 300, who did their duty" a simple epitaph for one of the greatest acts of courage known to mankind. Although facing the superior forces of Xerxes, Leonidas and his 300 Spartans at Thermopylae showed the world the meaning of Ïndomitable Spirit" If confronted with injustice a student of Taekwondo will deal with the injustice without fear or hesitation, with indomitable spirit, regardless whosever or however many the number may be. As history has prover, those who have pursued their dreams earnestlt and strenuously with indomitable spirit have never failed to achieve their goals.

The martial arts skills learned in Taekwondo are to be used to prevent conflict and violence. Never should a Taekwondo student initiate physical contact. The techniques of Taekwondo should be used only as a last resort in self-defence or in the defence of another person. Essentially Taekwondo students are expected to be model citizens and work for betterment of their community.
