"I'M JUST A SONGWRITER -- AND A PRETTY FOOLISH ONE AT THAT!" says singer/songwriter Matt Redman.  His song, The Heart of Worship, emerged from the 90's when his pastor got rid of all musical instruments and sound systems in their worship services.  That way, they performed only with their voices.  His pastor said that they will get their way into worship and "the way to get back to the heart will be to strip everything away."

After that, they gained a new perspective about worship.  That it's all about Jesus.  And "He commands a response in the depths of our souls no matter what the circumstance and setting."  Thus, the opening line of the song:

When the music fades, all is stripped away, and I simply come...
Longing just to bring something that's of worth, that will bless your heart...

I'm coming back to the heart of worship...  And it's all about you, it's all about you, Jesus.
