Tracy's Pozzuoli Pukes Page

You see, the Pozzuoli Pukes were very well known throughout the military society in Naples during the early 1990s. We were called the Pukes for short. I was very honored to be accepted as a member of this elite group, as very few women ever made the cut. The Pukes were somewhat of the local gang, if you will. However, this is not a gang in the sense of what a gang is today. We did not go around killing people or partake in any drive-bys. Although a Puke or two might get involved in the occasional bar fight (and it usually seemed to be with the Marines). You see, we were a group that protected our own. If you started something with one Puke, you started something will all of the Pukes. We could be a bit loud and obnoxious, as we loved our Jim Beam® and Jack Daniels®, but we always had fun. It seemed that everyone either hung out at Mike's, Marc's, or in the game room when we were chilling at home. You could usually find us at the EMO Club on Thursday and Saturday nights for Country night. On Friday nights we would usually venture out to Pinetmare to hang out at Ten Downing Street. When the urge hit us, we would alter our routine and add a little variety to our lives. This usually meant that we would go shoot darts at the Receiver Site or dance at the Flamingo. Occasionally, we'd even make the trip to Emilias. Oh, but I must not forget the Jazz Club. It was quite a hoot to listen to Italian bands sing Beatles songs. Then there is Edenlandia where we held our bumper car wars. We did have a few casualties during the bumper cars wars. I can definitely recall one broken arm. Hey Pukes, whose hat is up for grabs this time? However, if it was daytime and the weather was nice you could surely find us playing volleyball at Carney Park; this was our weekend ritual. No matter what the Pukes were up to, we were usually always together. The Pukes were my family for two and one-half years. I love you guys!!

Here is a picture of me and some of the Pukes getting ready for our voyage to Northern Italy (Torino) to partake in the festivities of a Guns N' Roses concert.
