What's Hoping in Room 20??
During the fourth quarter, we will continue preparing for the Terra Nova Standardized Test.   The test will be given during the week of April 9-12.   In an effort to increase student achievement on the test, I will be sending home weekly reading passages to practice on. Please set an extra 15-30 aside each night to help your child work on these passages.

We have begun learning how to subtract with regrouping, please continue helping your child practice this skill. This skill can be very difficult, your help is greatly appreciated.  Please go to the link at the bottom of the webpage to practice subtraction with regrouping online.

Please remember to read 15-30 minutes every night! Homework is due back on a daily basis. Remember to study your spelling words every night. Begin studying your spelling words on Monday night, this will help you learn the words, not just memorize them. I will be send home weekly progress reports every Monday or Tuesday. This is in an effort to keep you informed of your child's grades. Please sign and return the bottom portion of the progress report the next day.   Thank you for your support!
