Week 39 - Big news!  All four top teeth are in!  And they're big ones!  It looks so funny for Peyton to finally have what looks like a mouthful of teeth.  Seems like yesterday he was just a gummy baby!  The latter part of this week was somewhat hectic - on Thursday we went deer hunting in the Stansbury Mountains (last day of the season!), and on Saturday Daddy left for Denver for a week.
Week 40 -With Daddy gone to Denver, Mommy & baby had some quiet times at home.  Sunday was an especially lazy and relaxing day.  The highlights of this week are Peyton's new dance moves (rocking back & forth instead of just bobbing up & down!) and that he's starting to babbly "mama" a little bit.  It actually comes out "nana" (especially when he's angry!), but we know who he means.  Peyton got his first flu shot on Thursday.  Friday was the best day of this week - Daddy came home and our playgroup decorated pumpkins!!
Week 41 - A BUSY week!!!  Mommy, Peyton, Grandma Diana, and Grandpa Mike went to San Diego for Mommy's new job with UCSD.  Unfortunately Peyton started running a fever (side effect of the flu shot - bummer!)  the night before we left, so he spent the first couple days of our trip laying around the hotel room, cuddling with Grandma.  Fun things we did in San Diego included: swimming in the hotel pool, walking along the beach, going to the Birch Aquarium, seeing the pandas at the San Diego Zoo, and eating out at lots of yummy restaurants.
Week 42 - Happy Halloween!  Our playgroup had it's first Halloween party Friday morning.  Mommy & Peyton dressed up, and we decorated cookies and played with everyone there.  Peyton did his first round of Trick-or-Treating on Saturday in our neighborhood.  He was dressed warmly as a lion (see picture page) and scored about ten pieces of candy at the few houses that we went to.  I think he had a good time - at least he enjoyed all of the attention he got from everyone handing out candy.  Besides Halloween, the big news this week is that Peyton is now walking most everywhere now.  In fact, he prefers to walk instead of crawl almost all of the time.  Big Boy!!!!
