Week 43 - Happy 10 month birthday to Peyton on Monday! Although he's not talking yet, Peyton is increasingly finding ways to communicate with us. The most common sounds (and words?) he makes are: "eh?" (usually pointing to whatever he wants), "dada" (whenever he wants either Mommy or Daddy to come and get him), and "nana" (screaming - Mommy come rescue me NOW!) Had lunch with Daddy on Friday - a fun treat for everyone. |
Week 44 - A very nice and quiet week at home. Peyton got his second flu shot on Thursday, and had NO reaction this time! Phew! On Sunday Daddy built a sled to tow Peyton in while we go skiing. We tested it out in Mill Creek Canyon - not a lot of snow up there this time of year, but enough to go about 2 miles. Peyton loved it! |
Week 45 - Oh happy day. After continuing to get up with Peyton 4-5 times in the middle of the night for the past few months, Daddy got Peyton to SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT!!! Mommy was gone to San Diego for work, and Daddy worked his magic. Peyton now sleeps through the night all by himself, and if he does wake up, he's adept at putting himself back to sleep. Everyone is MUCH happier these days!!!! |
Week 46 - Happy Thanksgiving. We had an incredibly fun time with Grandpa and Grandma Cox in a cozy cabin outside of Dillon, MT. We did a lot of mushing with Grandma's sled-dogs on the 4-wheeler, hunting in the mountains behind the cabin, and exploring some new country. Thanksgiving dinner was complete with a whopper of a turkey (24-lbs!!) and all the trimmings. The definite highlight of the weekend was Peyton's first ski lesson with Daddy on his new skiis. Daddy couldn't have been more proud of his little guy on the snow. Can we see the Olympics in our future? |
