Week 47 - After the Thanksgiving holiday vacation, we've decided that we need to spend the enxt 3 weeks at home, getting a lot of work/school done before we leave for the Christmas holiday. This week was a lazy one at home. We splurged & went out for a fun breakfast at Village Inn on the way to do some Christmas shopping on Sunday morning. A nice outing - just the three (five) of us. |
Week 48 - Another quiet week at home. Peyton and Mommy did the last of the Christmas shopping on Tuesday, and got all of the presents wrapped and packaged to take to Montana in 2 weeks. |
Week 49 - A YUCKY WEEK. Peyton came down with the stomach flu on Sunday, and by Monday night, Mommy and Daddy had it too. Fortunately it was only a 24-hour bug for Mommy and Daddy, but Peyton took almost 5 days to get over the puking and runny poops. Yuck. By Friday we're all feeling recovered, and we head out to Montana. Hooray! A bright spot in our yucky week. |
Week 50 - A fun week in Montana! We spent the first few days at the Cox and Brown houses, and then headed up to a cabin by Three Forks, owned by some friends of ours. We spent a couple of days with the Dorringtons and Michels - good to catch up with them since we hadn't seen them since this summer. After that, we had an early Christmas Eve at the Cox house (the 23rd) and then headed up to the Brown house on the 24th. Both families (grandmas, grandpas, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins) came to Polson on Christmas Day, and we had fun chatting, eating, and playing with all of Peyton's new toys. |
Week 51 - On Saturday night, Leif left to climb Granite Peak with a buddy of his from college. He was gone until Wednesday evening, so Mommy and Peyton spent the time with Grandma & Grandpa Brown in Polson. We had a relaxing few days, only making one trip to Missoula to do a little apres-Christmas shopping (exchanging, actually). On Thrusday, everyone met at Seeley Lake and we spent the weekend (Peyton's FIRST birthday weekend) in a couple of cabins there. We had a grand time - swimming, skiing, mushing, and watching the Utah Utes win the Fiesta Bowl on Peyton's birthday. |
