Week 30 - Another big road trip this week. Seems like that's all we've been donig this summer! But Peyton is a great traveler, so we don't mind spending time in the car. This week we went to Leavenworth, Washington to attend the wedding of one of our friend's from MT Tech. We got to see the whole gang...Dorrington family, Naugle family, and Justin & Andrea. We had a great time, and Peyton was definitely the star of the show. He and Amoni stole the limelight from the bride and groom at the reception! |
Week 31 - We have a quiet week at home again. We spent the weekend relaxing around the house. On Sunday we hiked some of the upper trails in Mill Creek Canyon, and took a picnic lunch. It was a bit cooler up there, which felt good. It's been HOT HOT HOT in the city! Peyton's biggest accomplishment this week: climbing the stairs! We had no idea he even knew how, but he conquered the whole set on the first try! What a big boy! |
Week 32 - On the road again... We left Friday afternoon and headed to Huson to visit the Grandparents Cox, Auntie Heidi and Uncle Caleb, and Jim, Gretchen, and Kyle. We had a fun weekend with them. Highlighs included a trip to Seeley Lake, a yummy fondue dinner, and a raft trip down the Alberton Gorge. Peyton didn't do the whitewater section of the river, but he did accompany us down the flat water. He seemed to enjoy the raft...he fell asleep from the rocking of the waves! On Sunday we met the Grandparents Brown and Uncle Branden in Missoula for a picnic dinner, and then Peyton and Mommy went home with them to play for the week. We had a good time in Polson, doing a lot of relaxing! The weather was cool & rainy most of the time we were there, a nice change from the heat of SLC. Peyton learned a few new tricks: perfecting the art of waving bye-bye and clapping his hands. |
Week 33 - After our week in Polson, the Great-grandparents Howell brought Peyton and Mommy back to SLC. They stayed the weekend with us, and hung out at our house. We had a fun time with them, shopping and eating at a yummy rib restaurant. The week following that was quiet again, and we spent a lot of our time watching the Olympics. Our friends Tim and Laura babysat for us on Thursday night, while Mommy and Daddy went out on a date!!! |
