HAPPY NEW YEAR 2005! What a year 2004 was for us. It's hard to believe we've been in Utah for almost a year and half, and Peyton has been with us for over a year now. Time sure flies when you're having fun. Leif is still working on his Ph.D. at the University of Utah, and this summer we'll be spending a few months in Houston, Texas while he works for British Petroleum (BP) as a summer intern. He hopes to complete his dissertation and graduate by December 2006. We'll see! In October '04, Trilby resigned her position with the Alaska Earthquake Information Center and now works as a seismologist for the University of California at San Diego (UCSD). The change in jobs meant an increase in salary (hooray!) and full insurance benefits (hooray!). Added perks are monthly trips to sunny (most of the time) southern California!
