a summary of my activities in april 2005

April was when the true madness began! Every weekend was something in April. The first Friday night in April I had a pajama party with the girls in my choirs (about 80 girls, all told).... can we say STRESSFUL AND ANNOYING? Ahhh! The next Friday was my boys' party, which consisted of jamming out on guitars, playing football, X-Box, and pizza. The boys screamed much less and were just much more chill in general. The next Friday I took my sixth grade Honor Choir kids to a nursing home to sing. The next weekend I spent in Corpus Christi with the PSHS Choirs. The fifth Friday in April (the 29th) was my sixth grade solo festival, a new event I invented this year for my kids. The next day, the 30th, Andrew and I celebrated one year together! Yay us!
