SUN MYUNG MOON Activities Have You Seen This Calendar? Sun Myung Moon is also planning another MASS BLESSING. He claims this will be a worldwide xceremony and will take place Saturday April 27, 2002. The main ceremony will take place in Washington D.C. It is labeled the 144,000 couple blessing. Moon expects the Washington D.C. event will have some 600 to 1,000 couples including the "highest level Clergy couples, Heads of State, top Professors, Political, Civil and community leaders present. Multiple sites are being planned in churches throughout America by satellite and around the world to achieve the 144,000. They are suggesting that some 12,000 churches participate with 12 couples each to help reach their goal. Many of those churches being contacted will be the same churches that signed up with them on their Family Flag Day event. Thus we all need to check our churches and see if they were given the calendars and are on the list from the Family Flag Day and involved with this coming event.. Dr. Fred Miller Accepts Award The Leo J. Ryan Educational Foundationä, A national organization dedicated to educating the public about abuses of cult organizations presented its Community Action award to Dr. Frederick H. Miller at its October 26-28, 2001 conference in Independence, Ohio. The Leo J. Ryan Educational Foundationä provides information to mental health professionals, the legal community, government, law enforcement, media, clergy, and families; and serves as an advocate on behalf of former members, families and children. Congressman Leo J. Ryan was a champion of causes he believed would make a difference in the lives of average Americans. He was tragically assassinated while investigating allegations of human rights abuses involving American citizens at Jim Jones’ People’s Temple, in Jonestown, Guyana, South America, in 1978. Congressman Ryan is the only Congressman to give his life while in the service of his country while on active duty.
