 Welcome to the home of the "Flying Red Dorks", the 417th Tactical Fighter Squadron.  I was assigned to the 417th from July 1966 to December 1968.  I have tried to fill up the following pages with images and information about the 417th, its planes and people.   During my time with the 417th, the F-4D was the plane of the day, however many other planes were flown by the 417th over the years dating back to WW II when it was known as the 417th Night fighter Squadron.  Most small images can be clicked on for a larger view.  You can click on the Red Dorks to maneuver around, and always use the slider on the right to go to the bottom of the page.  Any additional information that you would like to add, please E-mail me , using the link below, and don't forget to sign the quest book on the 417th TFS page.              Terry L.
