
Our family history in regard to our association with the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, began with Ernest Charles Leuba Sr.(Lynn Jones' great-grandfather)in the late 1800's.
Ernest Charles Leuba Sr. immigrated to America from Lyons France

Ernest Jr. (Lynn Jones' grandfather)and his sisters, Ida, Helen and Alice, were active witnesses.


Ernest Leuba Jr. enjoyed sharing stories of swimming in the ocean off France and of going to England with his Grandfather, who owned a candy store in London.


Ernest Leuba Jr. was baptized in 1913 with his sister, Ida. He began pioneering (Colporteur work)immediately. He pioneered in Florida, Texas, Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas. In 1923 Ernest married Lucy Ellen Huff whom also served Jehovah.

Ernest Leuba served faithfully for 76 years until his death in 1989 at the age of 98. Ernest partook of the Memorial emblems all his dedicated life. Lucy served faithfully until her death in 1971 at the age of 88. Now awaits returning to a paradise earth that Jehovah promises.
