He belongs to one of the ancient Dravidian race and a community called Mutharaiyar.
He got married and has a daughter and a Son. His daughter got married and settled in USA and presently he lives with his wife and his son in his hometown of Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, and India.
His mother tongue is Tamil and he can speak English, Hindi, Arabic and Swahili languages.
He is a qualified Mechanical Engineer and a certified Boiler Operation Proficiency Engineer. He worked in various capacities in many Sugar Mills in India, Kenya and Sudan.
At present he is working as a Senior Consultant (High Pressure system) in a New Delhi based company “M/s. Vinayak Project Consultants India Pvt, Ltd”.
The study and research work on ancient symbols and inscriptions is his other part of his duty in his life.
He is also an artist.
He is active member of Tamil Nadu Temple Architectures Association.
He is a leading author in a Tamil Magazine called "Pazankasu". In which three of his articles were selected as the best articles.
