Needless to say, people ages around 13-19 are youths. The word 'youth' has the same meaning as teenager. Why is this issue brought up? Well read ahead.
Youth is a period where he/she needs a lot of love and care. Though youths may be independent, it doesn't mean that when a person is independent, he/she does not need love. He/she still needs love.
During this period of time, some youths are beginning to experience stress and may change their character too. Their stress may come from school and also from home. What are the consequences when he/she begins to experience stress? If you have read the newpaper or watch the news on television, you probably have already known that there are youths who commit crime (juvenile cases). Do you know that this is the consequence of youth under stress?
What kind of crime do under-stress-youths commit? Youths may commit crimes like taking drugs and this seems to be the most common one. Other crimes like murder, robbing a bank and stealing are less common. The big question mark is, why are youths taking drugs. Scientifically, drugs can relieve us from stress and not only that, it is detrimental to our health and can cause DEATH! Once someone takes drugs, he/she will be addicted to it.
The government has taken action against youths who commited crime but the government's action is still futile. Why? Why are their actions futile? Probably, a few parents who are irresponsible are not cooperating witht he government.
Another question is, how can parents cooperate with the government? My suggestion is, parents should keep an eye to their sons/daughters who are already youths and also be aware of what activity he/she joins. Love should also be given to them. If there is no love, he/she would not feel wanted by his/her parents and consequently, he/she would feel life is not meaningful and he/she would try to commit crime. Lastly, parents should teach their children well from young so that when they reach their youth, they won't be a 'rotten' youth. Please be warned, don't abuse your child.
As a conclusion, parents should cooperate with the government to prevent more juvenile cases from coming.
