It's just too bad that most people aren't in the upper 5% of the population who can visit the Ritz any time they darn feel like it. That's why there's an online version of the Ritz (not to be confused with their actual homepage - click the above graphic) that's 100% free, so the 95% of the population with some access to the Internet can visit. No reservations needed. Why exactly do I call it the Ritz, you ask? There's no food, no ballroom dancing, no picturesque views, no Rolls-Royces and white limousines parked outside, no great architecture. On the other hand, there are rooms, it's pretty comfortable, and there are more celebrities crammed into one space than a VIPs-only Los Angeles nightclub in June. So a few billion dollars wasn't put into this site. I just happen to like the Ritz. And I'm part of the 98% of the population that won't be staying there anytime soon. OK?

This website is strictly a celebration of the interests of a girl with ambitions, class, and even a little talent. My name is Adina Zidon, and I'm fourteen. I've been using the Internet since I was ten. When I was eleven, I jumped on a bandwagon that had a big banner on its roof. The banner read aspiring homepage builders. After three years, over a dozen websites (including a now-offline phenomenon), and a very long obsession with old movies which is now on a back burner, I've got the art of page making down to a science. I don't know everything, but I know nearly everything that I should know. And I learned it all by myself.

Want to make your own page? You need two things to start with - a good pag builder (Geocities is the best) and an obsession. I cannot stress the latter enough. If you have a driving obsession, particularly one that none or few of your contemporaries seem to share, making a website to scream your interest(s) to the world is surprisingly soothing. You'll end up meeting people who feel the same way you do about whatever it is you like. Some of your new e-friends may be in contact with you online for a long time to come - months to years into the future. You will find that your obsession can be tamed with extensive page work. It may also grow. In any event, it's a fun thing to do. GOOD LUCK!
